Tariffs...what to make of them.

Not an armchair foreign entanglements expert, this shit is always more complicated, but Ukraine is still under martial law and missed their last presidential election. I have so many questions. Is Zelensky even interested in peace or maybe only in maintaining power and keeping the money flowing in? Is the EU doing what it should? It’s a bigger problem for them.

Is it about throwing Russia a bone? Are they maybe getting too cozy with China? Is it feigned? Where did all the money go? How much has been redirected? Stolen? Kicked back? Zelensky said something like 100 Billion hasn’t made it to them, where is it? Is he a puppet like Biden? If we stop throwing money and moldy supplies at Ukraine, will other countries fill the void? Should we suggest a caged death match between Putin and Zelensky? I need a bike ride.

Personally I would love to see it...and I hate saying this as an American but if the UK, Germany, Italy, Poland, etc get together and decide to close all of our bases....Can't say that I blame them....Some friends we are.

So I think its important to remember that there are people tracking every penny that we spend....Despite what DOGE thinks....You want to argue that maybe its not spent in the best way.....fine...but it is tracked. Ukraine for example

One thing that can't be argued....Ukraine is killing thousands of Russians and destroying hundreds of drones everyday....they aren't doing it with rocks and sticks...They have our weapons and are using them...If you want to see what a corrupt army functions like...look no further than the Russians. Totally disorganized cannon fodder.

I would bet money....If Russia stopped the war right now and left, there would be elections soon after. I can totally understand why they ban elections during marshal law...Look what happened in the elections that were held in the provinces that Russia captured.....Donetsk People's Republic..... According to the results released by the through its sections in the DPR 99.23% wanted to be part of Russia....I mean this is absurd bullshit. Putin is demanding elections before he talks to Zelensky...I mean PUTIN demanding elections...talk about the pot and the fucking kettle lol. You don't even have to rig elections....Look at Russia, Iraq, North Korea, "insert dictatorship".....you vote how you are told to vote, and if you don't they come pay you a visit.

I mean this is part of the reason these people are fighting so hard.....Read what happens to the losers after the war ends....The Vietnam war got REALLY REALLY bad after we left and the North hunted down everyone and their families who helped the Americans. If Russia ever takes over Ukraine, the cleansing that will happen after this much blood...I dont even want to think about it.
 
Not to change the subject but I just read an article in Fortune about an extra $205 billion in Social Security because of Covid deaths. Sad but true hopefully they don't raid that for tax breaks for the top 1%.

Taking back the Panama Canal
Buying Greenland
Canada becomes the 51st state
Gulf of America
Taking control of Gaza to turn it into the Riviera of the middle east
Zelinski is a dictator who started the war

And this is ignoring what is going on in our country.

Anybody catch the Canadians booing our national anthem?

Trump is bought and paid for by Putin. Don’t listen to what trump says, watch what be does.
The war would stop tomorrow if Putin stopped fighting and give back the land and people it has taken.

We did not fight together. Germany attacked Russia, so giving the Russians military supplies was a way to help ourselves. Stalin was MORE than happy to invade Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Romania, and parts of eastern Germany.....Then when the war ended....Hey were just keeping these, thanks! Patton famously said that we should have attacked the Russians after Germany surrendered....its not as crazy of an idea as it might have sounded imo.

Stalin didn't just take them, they were given to him.
So the 1.5 million Japanese the Russians killed or captured in Manchuria didn't help us out?
