The 2025 Lawn Thread

Always wanted one of these and Got this for a steal for $100 off FB MP. Guy switched to all battery powered and decided he wanted to get rid of it fast. These retail for $1500 new
And good used ones sell for $6-800 easy.

Needs a few minor things but I used it to “cut” the grass and take it for a test ride yesterday.

While it’s a beast and the 30” width will certainly make cutting the lawn go faster I’m not sure if it’s just too much mower for what I need compared to my 22” AWD Husqvarna Also maintenance is a little more complicated tho folded up it does fit inside my suv.

I’ll take it off your hands if you decide it’s not for you!

Interesting that such a large mower doesn't have caster wheels up front. Do the rear wheels have independent drive to help with turns? I have a smaller JD push mower which has casters for the steep hill sections and it's so much better than the Honda it replaced

Late 2nd cut as I just didn't get to it, but I didn't need to double cut it, just blow some clumps out with my noise maker. Stripes still from last week. Trugreen has to come back because there's a bunch dandelions, more than I ever had after an application.

I agree and no the rear wheels don't have the turn triggers like a snowblower would to help steer explains why on most of these the front wheels wear out before the back ones.

I have these 5, uh 4, white flowering crab apples that put on quite a show this time of year. Jacked one up (second from left) that was leaning and staked it. One of those gust storms late winter blew the one in the middle over 🙁. I planted these about 27 years ago. Guess I'm gonna start losing them.
