I accidentally left my car unlocked yesterday. Someone grabbed all the cash out of my wallet. It was in my center console. They left the wallet at least. I was parked to the left of the main trail entrance between 12-2:30 yesterday. Keep an eye out for shady characters roaming the lot and make sure you lock your cars!

Yea, my own fault and at least they didn't take anything else. With the volume of people out there its an easy target as I would assume most people don't ride with their wallet. Plus if all they take is cash youre unlikely to report it.

Nice of them to just take the cash. At least you don't have to go to DMV for a new license.

Yea or the could have taken my credit cards or work laptop. Certainly could have been worse.

I'd get new cards anyway. They could have snapped a quick pic of them, plus they could have your address from the license, so theoretically they have what they need to go on a nice www shopping spree. Then again I'm super paranoid about this stuff, so maybe I'm over thinking it.

See, I was gonna say that you were there but I decided to be a nice guy about it.
Snooze you lose.. You'll get me on the next one. All you had to do was split it with me and we're good.

Frightening thought, but great advice. @bullit398 I would not take any chances, my Mastercard got hacked twice this year....luckily my carrier is awesome about it.

I guess I have to think twice now about leaving the top down on my Jeep. I thought there would be honor amongst us mountain bikers. Incidentally, I always look out for my fellow bikers shit. If I ever seen anyone snooping around, u can bet I'd call them out.

For years I would leave my jeeper topless and no doors in the lot with no worries.
The past few years crime has come to the lot... these are sad times indeed...

It may not be mountain bikers that are doing the deeds, I see a lot of different users at the park these days. Let's not forget local drug users, heroin addiction has grown to horrible levels and these sad examples need to find quick cash. Be alert for people in their cars that seem to just be hanging around, I've seen this quite a bit recently.
