I love how the Fox news watchers keep saying this is like the flu. Like the flu now? Like the flu when it first started in 1918 and it killed between 3-5% of the world’s population. Like the flu in 1975 where vaccines sorta worked but many people were still dying. What flu period are we comparing this new virus to? Which one best fits your narrative?
I haven't heard Anyone claim it's like the flu since early 2020......not sure what recordings you are watching

It is like the flu in one respect - it's not going anywhere unless it mutates to a completely harmless variant. We will have to learn to live with it - get vaccinated to protect yourself and forget about it or take your chances.

I disagree with that decision as well, but I find it really hard to believe that it's had any significant impact on vaccination rates. I'd be surprised if most people even remember that pause.

I enjoy the “please” argument style. There was a blip as you both mentioned. But I would suggest that the people who were gonna get it got it, and vice versa.

And it scared people off who were on the fence. Combined with the "vaccinated still need masks" waffling only made it worse.
I think the delta wave is fueling the latest increase in vaccinations - FL had a large weekly increase last week.
