What are you watching now?

I have read/listened to every Bosch. All good. Titus is not what I expected him to be like, however after watching the show I like Titus a the narrator for new books. I have never watched the Reacher show, but was turned off by the movie when Cruise played at 6'5 guy. The Reacher books are getting rough since he is writing with his son, they used to be a lot better (for what they were) just my $.02
Agree. Alan Ritchson is better look than Tom Cruise at the part of Reacher. Seasons 1 & 2 are better than 3.

Currently watching the last game of this year’s NCAA Men’s Basketball Elite 8. Auburn leads Michigan St.

In a former life, I was a pretty crazy basketball fan. Played a lot growing up, on school teams, intramural, and all the local park runs. And lucky to come of age in the 80’s, when both the NBA and college scenes were absolutely incredible to follow.

Anyway, I’ve completely lost interest in what’s become of the NBA game, but I’ve been telling myself to get back to watching March Madness. Still plenty of actual team basketball being played at the collegiate level, and, of course, some insanely talented kids. It’s also fun to just be a fan of the game and enjoy as a neutral.

The run of the big east dominating the country!

Also watching. I even went to a MAAC tournament game this year.

We've been watching this weekend. I like it, kind of in the same boat as you. We ran in leagues at RU with guys who were on the BB team, and guys like Ray Lucas, where we were a bunch of white guys that suuuuucked. But man, it was part of our college fabric back then. Watched many tournaments over the years. Like you, the NBA is god-awful and unwatchable right now. But college is still really enjoyable. I do hope the NBA comes back to reality but I am afraid the best days are long-gone.

Has it ever happened that all 4 1-seeds made the final four?

Wife and I watched "Trap" on Netflix last night.

It was pretty good although some of the scenes didn't seem logical, but I won't spoil it with any hints.

Interestingly, the director's daughter plays the pop star and she wrote and sang all the original music. He even has a cameo in the movie himself.

If you know M. Knight Shayamalan's movies he always has an unexpected twist. You may recall the movie The Sixth Sense " I see dead people".

This dropped yesterday, on Paramount+. Haven’t yet had time to start watching.

I’m an unabashed fanboy of Guy Ritchie’s British mobster stuff, and the three lead actors in this bring some serious firepower.

It will be interesting to see where the plotlines go, though, given the well-trodden terrain of the subject matter.

Just finished binging Black Sails (Netflix).
It’s about pirates. (Right, who cares?)
It’s the prequel to Treasure Island, but you don’t have to have read that to enjoy.
It’s like GoT on the high seas. Or Pirate version of The Wire.
Aside from like 2-3 episodes that I thought fell flat, they keep it rolling nicely through 5 seasons, and even wrap it up well.
It’s never easy to stick the landing.
Highly recommend.

Now finishing up season 1 of Landman.
Started it just content to enjoy some Billy Bob, but after 3 episodes or so it found its legs and I’m enjoying it as a series.

Pirate version of The Wire? Was there an episode similar to the McNulty and Bunk MFer episode?

Last hour was nuts. Didn’t expect Seth to win. Tonight my vote is for Rhea to win the women’s title and Cody will beat Cena, and I bet the Rock makes an appearance during the match.
