What are you watching now?

I’m still with it. Slowed down a bit as they left for Seattle, and the whole “I’m gonna be a dad” thing was a bit weird but I get what they’re doing. My only gripe is that Ellie acts like she’s leaned 0 from Joel despite crossing the country multiple times together. Until that ending scene last night…
Still watching but every time I see a guitar I figure there will be a 5 minute music interlude now.

Amazing how they stayed dust free for 25 years
Also can’t say that I mind all of the Pearl Jam references as a huge Pearl Jam fan. Regardless, it looks like the next episode is gonna tell us a bit more about Ellie and Joel in the five years that transpired between the seasons. It feels like the guitar is well tied to her memory of him.

It was the full version of Ah-Ha's Take On Me last week that I thought was just way too long a scene. Now I just get triggered.

My being home sick binge watching continues.

After finishing the Race for the Crown series this morning , this afternoon I watched the Gabby Petito 3 part documentary on Netflix.

All I kept thinking is what a shame that whole story was/is.

Finished "In the Land of Saints and Sinners" last night. Pretty good Liam Neeson story set in County Donegal, a bit west of where he grew up. 6.4 on IMDB, but punches above its weight. Better than "A Walk Among the Tombstones," his 2014 effort that is 6.5 IMDB. Long way from driving the forklift at Guinness.

Watched all of Four Seasons on Netflix. Remake/modernization of a film by the same name. Short episodes. While it has a theme, they keep it light.

Murderbot anyone?

It’s on the next list for me. Bunch of people at work are watching. I read all the books so I’m excited for this.

Just finished Severance season 2. Did not meet expectations. The hype was massive and I found the narrative totally disjointed and incoherent at times. I don’t think the final episode really solved much.

Ted Lasso continues to give me much enjoyment.

But tonight I watched Dominguez walk that shit off. That was sweet.

I watched the first episode with the whole family trying to get them in. It wasn’t really a hit with them but I liked it and now at least I can just watch it by my self.

I couldn’t even get through the second season. I bailed after 6 episodes.

Probably their best series. The Newsroom is #2

Fuckin A

Just finished Ransom Canyon on Netflix. Mindless and slow which is what I needed. Pretty scenery. Also I would watch Josh Duhamel doing just about anything and still reeeeallly enjoy it 😉
