What have you done to your bike today?

Just replaced the broken spokes on my 27.5” non-winter fat bike wheels.

A huge THANK YOU to Karate Monkey who saw my post about breaking spokes and sent me some in the mail. I tend to break spokes, every so often, I’m a beefy and ride really weak trialsy style so it happens. I usually drop my wheel at bike king around the corner and its fixed up in a day or two. In these corona times thats not an option. However thanks to the generosity of Karate Monkey I was able to fix it up myself...Thanks!

While I was at it, I noticed the bearings felt a bit rough so I took em out. Popped the seals and regreased but still feel wonky so new bearings going in...again.

Wheels should be like new after all is said and done.

And yes my work bench is an embarissing mess, but a garage cleaning is on the quarantine list...after shed rebuild, outdoor electrical rewire and retaining wall rehab.

Another late night wanted to start carrying a bag again to prep for longer rides, tools, spares, gloves, tp, water, and I have a first aid kit that pops on the molle.

Took my buddy's xl bike out for a spin to make sure it was good for tomorrow, it was shifting slightly off, hanger was bent so I straightened it out.

Also took the ragley out for a spin, no brakes just bombed the hill I live on and pedalled back. It feels like a baby bike compared to wagon wheels. I know both my bikes are slack hardtails but I may hold on to my old bike it was very easy to swing around.

What bag is that? You like it? Thinking of giving bags a try.
