Polar have more areas to live. Polar do not destroy crops like NJ black bears. NJ has the highest bear density in the U.S. The numbers need to be controlled. Deer will starve out in the woods, bear just come out and eat whatever it takes to survive.

What exactly is the problem? I live in the middle of Bear-land and have no issue with the bear population. I put my garbage out in the morning and don't feed the birds. If others did that it should take care of 99% + of the problems.
