Moon Shadows are Evil

Can't you just not do it? From the sounds of it, it's an option. Do you feel pressure from the family (aka, wife) to get the Friday off? I don't like the 4x10 idea at all, personally.

Yes, it is an option. My wife is off and Thursday and Fridays, so it made sense the past couple of years to do something with the family, but this year my son was in preschool of "camp" on friday mornings, so the family day trip thing kinda went out the window. Next summer, my wife will be working full time and the kid at camp in the mornings, so I probably won't do it, but maybe I will because it will be a chunk of free time. Next week is the last week for it, so thats that.

I was hoping you put the jersey and helmet on just for a myspace style picture in your yard, but I see a road bike behind you so I'm going to assume you were actually partaking in a cycling activity.

It's pretty cool that you schedule your arguments over money. Mine just seem to spontaneously happen with no warning.

let me know when you schedule your next fight...i can come over and take pics. I'll even post them on your blog for ya.

well it wasn't scheduled, but since it was an issue that didnt need immediate attention, my wife seemed content to wait until the kid went to bed. It wasn't so bad and basically just came down to the bikes always causing problems and it is crazy there is 5 out there (ftr, there is only 4 right now, does that mean there is room for another?). Most likely the bmx will go as it is the one I can live without since the mtb can double as that. Anyone want to buy a 20"?

not one bit. It is justifying the need for more that x number of bikes. I will admit, above 3, the lines started to gte blurry

I'd say 5. Above 5 is gets blurry. 2 mtn, 2 cross, 1 road bare minimum.

I can see that, but slash one cross for me = 4. Combine moutain down to 3. My barebones is road, rain / cross / do anything bike, mountain / extreme machine.

BTW, did anyone see the moon this morning? I was on the bike at 4:45 and if you could see it through the thick-ass fog, it was awesome. Lightless riding for some stretches of road was in effect.

Yes, and strangely I was compelled to turn my lights off today also. I almost never do that. But in between my sets I turned off the lights for quite a stretch today and just rode in the dark. Very awesome morning.

4:45 is impressive. Going to need to beat you on that one, one of these days.

Agree with Norm, 5 is minimum. Although my 5 would be different, sorta. Bikes without seats and bikes hooked up to child trailers seem to not count at all towards that 5. Another tip. I did this last year, move all your parts from the road bike to a cross frame for the CX season and winter, swap back in spring. It's like cheating.
