We did Killington today. The good news is that it wasn't really crowded at all.

Some change in plans had me skiing Snowmass yesterday instead of Aspen Highlands. Conditions were solid again, with an inch or two of snow on top of packed powder. I ended the day by charging down Long Shot, a 3.2 mile ungroomed blue trail from top to bottom. Strava still hasn’t updated my place in the standings, but I think I’m around 20th out of 1,400 skiers who have recorded that trail.

Even after 10 years of mountain biking with some XC racing tossed in there, I still consider myself more of a skier than a mountain biker. I’m very comfortable at speed!

Wolf Creek today! No stops, 9 AM to 4 PM. They’ve gotten about 36 inches of snow the last two days and it snowed the whole time I was there today. My 96 mm underfoot skis did better than I thought they would, but I had a few moments where I was humbled and had to dig myself out of waist-high snow that I got stuck in. I also had one beautiful double ejection from the tips of my skis digging into the powder beneath me that sent me a solid 10 feet face-first into a pile of snow.

Blue wasn't bad today I mean it wasn't Great either but it was empty I skied right onto the lift every single time. Did 30 runs before calling it quits.

Yes. I never heard of this place till last year when a friend took their young one.

Looks like storms are coming for the NE!! Fingers crossed and I'll be at Windham on Sunday and Stratton next weekend.

Skied 3 days over MLK at Sugarbush. While the conditions were as expected we did have a hoot of a good time. They opened Stein's on Sunday morning and we crushed some runs under the guns!

The Mighty Gaw!! I grew up in Franklin lakes, I used to go there right after school. We would make jumps and then get in trouble from ski patrol.

Did you see those GIANT piles on Murphys?? Almost as high as the snow guns.
