The pre order is not an actual order and a truck does not get built that way. It was just a place holder. Prior to getting it built you must place an actual order with anon refundable deposit from most but not all dealers. When I ordered my f250 in July it was 1k minimum non refundable deposit
 
When we are ready for a new EV (will be several or many years but I can be unpredictable) I think we go for something like the Rivian R1S and or VW iD buzz or whatever F eEXPEDITION for plentiful DRY cargo space. Also, I can’t drive a $50,000+ pickup knowing that I would surely ding by using it for DIY work. My $10,000 pickup does the same.

The lightning as generator is a genius idea that could have been accomplished by TSLA no doubt but then they couldn’t sell solar and power walls. Also, this assumes you are home during a power outage to kick on your lightning and for emergency use only. Charging the power walls off peak or with solar is a different full time power solution. Different purposes I’m sure you know.

I was also going to comment how will 3rd party charging stations compare to superchargers in X years. After some googling it seems like CCS is up to speed and it’s just increasing the locations.

the cabin dims are the same as the ice f150 and there are photos of three car seats side by side there so I figured its a safe bet. I thought we were done with kids but something tells me we're not. She was looking at the Rivian as it has three rows but I would prefer something more like half the price.

From what I read it's the same dimensions as the regular f150 like you said and I know the 150 and 250 have the same size inside cab and I can deffintly fit 3 car seats across the back. I have my 2 kids seats next to each other and have more than enough room for a full size adult to sit next to them. I could take a pic later.

I never look forward to filling the Suburban. Takes too long to fill that big ass tank. But if it took over 10 minutes I'd have to shoot myself.

You gotta pay to play.

I mean if you are trying to make a money saving argument for buying a tesla...PLEASE lol. I could drive my ford focus for another 50 years for what you have into that car lol.
