Chimney Rock Conditions

You are way more optimistic than me, my friend. Bridgewater got hit with showers last night but happy to be proven wrong!

RV will be the spot this weekend.

Everybody makes fun of my trails and says they’re dumb. I love them and ride them not that often🙂 . Glad you got your dream trails 👍

You missed my point. My point was that my opinion is correct and the only one that matters 🤣

Investigated Blue and Red late this afternoon. The swampy areas of blue are still swampy, but the rest of the trail is fine. Red has a few puddles and softer spots but is otherwise in good shape. Blue has a lot of runoffs that cross and sometimes run along it, so it is generally one of the worst trails, if you stay off it you should have no problem staying clean riding this weekend. I’d also still avoid the trail behind the ball fields.

Did some blue, white, orange, red yesterday and it was OK, especially considering the recent rain. Better than last time, though again staying away from the problem sections on blue is advised.

Obviously we have a wide spread here in terms of what we find acceptable, so take my information with a grain of salt.

It's really the time of year when anyone who lives more than 10-ish miles from CR should not bother. Chances that it is "good" are slim. And as 1 of the guys who helps maintain the park, I would suggest that your time would be better spent going elsewhere. Like Sedona, e.g.

If you drive an hour to get there, chances are you're just going to ride and we generally don't begrudge anyone that. We would all prefer that everyone be a model citizen but who am I kidding? I drove 27 mph through the neighborhood to drop the kids off at school yesterday. So I'm as guilty as the rest.

In any event, it's not going to be ideal for a little while.

I would certainly agree with all of that. If you don’t live here, it’s not worth traveling for. There are better places to go.

Decades ago when I lived in Edison, I would always go to Hartshorne during the spring as it seemed to dry out much faster than CR.

Was waiting on a crowdsource tm thread today, guessing you didn't check if there were 1000 trees down yet
