It is not that cut & dry...

The Festival Committee needs to weigh sponsor and volunteer commitment when considering the possibility of changing the date. FWIW, more than a handful of volunteers are racing on Sunday. No volunteers, no rides, registration, set up/break down, etc... :hmmm:

hahaha i did little to no riding this summer casue of my med bullshit. and the riding i did do... ROCKS? in south jersey? lol
 
Here's my humble prediction.

We'll set up. People will come. Rides will go off as scheduled. A little rain will fall. Peeps will get muddy. The aforementioned peeps will have the time of their lives and go home with broad smiles on their mud-encrusted faces. 😉

i totally agree.

plus - unless its raining sulfuric acid and hungry sharks with lazer beams on their freakkin' heads i'll be there. and if some rides have to get cancelled because of serious rain and touchy trail conditions, so be it. not only is a day to ride, its also a day to BS about bikes all day and to have a good time and hang out - downpours or not. F it - we're mtn bikers - we can stand around in the rain all day and look like jackasses better than any other group of geeks out there.

+1, I say keep it saturday. A little rain will be ok, even if some rides dont go off its a good day to be social and check out what the sponsors/venders have. Iggydoppler 4000 forecast calls for gooood times.
 
Whats the earliest I can demo a 29er? My daughters b-day party is midday but I would love to come and hang if its early enough.
 
they just say 40% chance of rain everyday so that they are never wrong.
keep it saturday!
I have that ridiculously huge tarp I used at allamuchy to cover the entire campsite if someone wants to figure out a way to make a shelter out of it 🙂

I can't say for sure because that is up to the bike reps, but the bikes should probably be ready to go when we open at 9am.

JORBA Fest is tomorrow HOPEFULLY I've got my fingers crossed!

Don't forget MTBNJ Will have their tent setup there where you can stop by and see celebrities like:

Norm "I'm perfected by science"
Bikn "I'll beat up your kids for you" Ben
Kush "I'll beat you in a race and take a killer picture of you while doing it"
Mare "I hug married men"
Fred "Single speeder with a badge"

And a cast of many other cool people make sure to stop by and see them!
