Sourlands Mountain Preserve Conditions

I'm going to give this a go after work, say 530ish for an hour or so.

I have no idea what to expect with the recent rain; Unfamiliar with the soil of the Lands of Sour.

Top will be mostly dry, bottom may have standing water. I have ridden SL the day after heavy rain and the top was perfect.

only an hour?
F yo... i want to ride. Dunno what's up the misses.

If you make it later like 7.. i totally can get out

Can anyone of you guys get some nice video footage of the trail system here please ? I can't seem to find anything recent and I always been curious about the sourlands .. Thanks !

I changed my mind. I'm going to explore out the front door on some crazy stuff I found on bing.

Think I know the answer, but wanted to check with the experts. What is outlook for tomorrow morning?

Thanks,

Tim

gonna say you should be good to go. lower trails might have some spots, but the armored sections should be fine. upper trails are probably good.

i think i spotted the poison vine that slashed me up good. There is some very minor overgrowth on the lower trails just before you hit the rock bridge skinny. It's hanging down from a tree on right side. I imagine it was more in the trail last weekend.

i would love to hear a good report, but i dont think itll be nice. everyone says something about the lower trails vs upper trails, anyone?

After the rain we got, how do you think this place would be?

i would say no to a ride today/tonight but it will probably be good enough by tomorrow after the sun has some time on it. it's been pretty dry so when we get rain its been soaking up a little quicker than normal.
