Ran into a snag. My PC Doesn't have Bluetooth. Had to order a UsB adapter. I can't get the control levers to link up.
My android phone sees them but won't broadcast ant+. .

Bluetooth dongle arrived everything set up nicely.
Question.....
.How are you running your virtual shifters?
Sequential
SRAM 1x or 2 x
Shimano 1x or 2x. .

Not sure what you're asking. Zwift virtual shifting is a sequential 1x24 pattern last i checked unless some update has given new options (haven't used it in about a month). Does the new Zwift Ride bike give other options to emulate sram/shimano patterns?

Yeah it has all those options plus steering.
Internet search seems sequential is the most commonly used. 1-24 speed. 48 t chainring.

I finally did my first ride on the Zwift Ride.
It's pretty great!
Still need to work on the bar position they seem weird.
Overall its great choice for indoor training.

First ride yesterday (and second today, because reasons) on the new to me KickR 6... Holy shit, bigly upgrade in feel and quietness from the older one I had. Now I just need to dial in the bike fit a little for my back issues.

IndieVelo is a Zwift clone with better physics and much better/realistic racing for those that like to kill themselves on a trainer. Hopefully they keep that spirit going and mess with stuff like improving the dull graphics and adding some more terrain.

Dumb question, I need to buy a Laptop for the Basement but don’t know which of these cheesy Dells or whatever I need. I use a MacBook Pro for my actual laptop but don’t want to move it all the time to use the Trainer.

I bought a refurbished desktop off eBay for $300 with a big monitor. It just stays in my garage.

I’m a Windows guy but ever since I changed my Zwift setup to an AppleTV 2 years ago I wish I had done it so much sooner. Get whatever one is going on sale you don’t need the high end one for most of the virtual programs.

@Steve Vai do not get a Chromebook. As of last year Zwift/Trainerroad wasn’t supported. My iPad works…and it was cheaper ($250)

For Zwift I think connecting with AppleTV makes a huge difference. I can be up and riding in a minute or 2 with a click of the remote
