Things that make you frown :(

Listening to the sound of an angle grinder in the neighbor's garage, knowing that his OCD lawn care season is upon us. 2wks ago it was a 3hr blower season to blow the lawn completely free of anything before the lawn service spray fertilizer season. Literally had his sprinkler going the other day during a well forecasted rain storm. MF'er needs a hobby.
I have 3 of those asshats around me.

Feeling the lows of being injured i have nerve compression in my neck. I felt like the poster child for not being able to ride without my PM or GPS. Put a mega riser on all my bikes to get by. Having a little crisis at 40 feeling what its like to break down. Used to ride HT at creek my lower back is fine. The road cycling and the yanking on the bars on climbs made everything worse. Going to roll with risers, suspension seat posts and stop yanking the bars so much in the future.

did you get a professional opinion on what is going on? or why - good chance why can be fixed.

The shop hasn’t burnt down yet?

They're 2+ weeks out for service, may as well be! Get your ass back to work.

Yes a herniation in my lower neck i have surgery scheduled. I originally wanted an artificial disk but the reoperation risks are higher and complication more severe than a fusion so i am in the works to talk about it.

My coworkers and I ran the gamut of spinal surgeries last year. One had a fusion on L4-L5-S1, I had a microdiscectomy on L4/L5 and the other coworker had a T level disk replacement. FWIW I'm 100%, the fusion coworker seems generally better and the disc replacement is still experiencing pain.

The forecast

Well.

If you look hourly, Saturday morning looks clear now so you can get a ride in. Then you get some chance of rain which, objectively, will help water down this pollen hell and if we're being honest, the trails can already use. They're already getting dusty.

Then Sunday you have a few hours if you really get out semi-early. And they percentage is like 50% so it may not rain anyway on Sunday.

Monday looks shitty but whatever, that's another week.
