I like how there was zero attempt to clean under the caliper what they were off 😉Finally installed the Saint brake. Still have to cut the hoses and bleed the brakes.
Rear hose is new

Lucky kid. Carbon Lefty Super Max 140?This has been hanging on my wall for over 5 years now.....after many years of use, I cracked the rear triangle....@jdog got me another, but the bike was then ~7 years old and they no longer had the right color...I mean whatever, you get what you get lol....But by this time, I had bought my bronson and forgot about this thing. For its day tho, (2013) it was a really good bike....Anyway, fast forward now nearly 6 years....After giving my 11 year old nephew my wifes old 26in hardtail this summer to tool around at our lake...hes been riding with my son and really liking it...so he asked his mom for a bike with suspension for his birthday.....My sister in law then asks me what she can buy him...I like the good brother in law that I am, send her a link to a halfway decent $9000 pivot switchblade and tell her..."you do LOVE your son don't you????" Anyway....in reality she was going to spend like $300....and im like, please no...bc not only will you buy him a piece of shit, ill be stuck fixing said piece of shit. So I remembered I had this bike on my wall still....Its not a switchblade, but I think it will be better than anything he would have gotten for $300.
Frame, fork, stem, wheels were all stuff from when I took it apart....cranks were a set that @pooriggy iggy gave me years ago...cant remember why...cassette is off my bronson, brakes are the db8s off roberts new pivot as are the shifter and derailleur, handlebar I won and Johnny Gs floduro....Need to find a short dropper post for it

yes, and I will say...still one of the best forks I have ever used.Lucky kid. Carbon Lefty Super Max 140?
What are the insertion limits? I have a 31.6mm Manitou 150mm dropper that may work. Is it set up for internal routing? This has been hanging on my wall for over 5 years now.....after many years of use, I cracked the rear triangle....@jdog got me another, but the bike was then ~7 years old and they no longer had the right color...I mean whatever, you get what you get lol....But by this time, I had bought my bronson and forgot about this thing. What compound are you using on the Magic Mary? And is that the new radial?Put a Magic Mary on the front of the Stumpy. Took the Ultra Soft Albert from that, put it on the front of the Epic, moved the Soft Albert to the back. All done in anticipation of slipperier conditions as the seasons change.
Stumpy had a squeak in the BB area, started to pull everything and noticed the rubber of the NDS dust seal was getting chewed up at the crank arm. Replaced and re-greased, see how it holds up. Oh, and for shits and giggles I re-greased the headset, too.
Ultra soft, Trail casing in the new Radial, yes. The Ultra soft Albert doesn't show appreciable wear, and I've rode it in rotation since April, including a 4 day trip to Moab. What compound are you using on the Magic Mary? And is that the new radial?
I run a soft out front but I was thinking of trying an ultra soft in the Super trail casing. I can run lower PSI in the Supertrail vs my current Superground casing.
So after getting it together and letting my son take it for a spin...I realized that there is no way he would be able to ride it yet with a dropper....so this is the only way its going to work for now. But its together and working. What are the insertion limits? I have a 31.6mm Manitou 150mm dropper that may work. Is it set up for internal routing?
