good point... I'll bring a few cases of water and maybe something else if I notice anything between the door - the water display - and the register at stop & shop in the am...

looking at the radar this is a very thin line of storms. should be over within the hour with no other rain east of the Mississippi.
gotta think y'all will have good weather and good trails.

FunDay is still on! The rain is behind us and things should dry out just fine. If the trails are too messy, we can still BBQ and have a great time! We all got plenty of food and planned to be with bike friends, so there's no reason we should cancel fun.
The only problem I see is that when I woke up at 5:30 to the pouring rain, I figured this would be cancelled so I ate some of the bean dish I made...so I have a little less for the festivities 🙂 Other than that, today looks good and I'll see you all by 10:00!

We've got a couple gas grills. I remember last year when the rangers came by they said we can use gas only there. I guess it's because there's no grills set up like we had at Allaire.

I am still sick 🙁 I was up all night coughing despite my meds. I am going to try and get some more sleep and show up for the BBQ later but there is a chance I may just take it easy and hang around up here. Sorry :/ this sucks!

That is one of the few times you will see me in baggies. They kept getting hung up on my seat and pissing me off.
BTW, that picture of Capers is disturbing.
I hope everyone had as much fun as I did. Yes, it was a little warm out, but a ride with a great group of people, topped off with a lot of good food more than compensated for the heat. Thanks Mare! I am glad you decided to put the "Funday" ride on again this year. Much thanks to the cooks (those on the grill, and those who prepped at home). Good to see all the folks who made it to Clayton again, as well as the new faces. For those of you who didn't make it this year, I hope Mare decides to do it again next year so you can join in. I am tired now,time to chill.
