I posted helpful information on travel and cycling in NZ in all my posts. You guys censored information from the only non-biased source in that thread who has extensive travel and cycling experience in NZ.

This site just seems to care more about promoting shops and advertisers than really helping a fellow cyclist. Pat yourselves on the back, awesome:rofl:

Additionally this site promotes responsible trail usage, advocacy, and don't forget about the social aspect of their rides.

It was moved, not censored, and you know why. It appears you're being intentionally obtuse on the matter, and in danger of heading into Troll territory.

Seriously, how hard is it to say something like this...

"This is a great trip but you don't need to do a package deal. Here's an alternative for the slightly more adventurous..."

Instead you declare, "Ripoff," then proceed to call it "packaged crap."

we censored? show me where, tell me what and i'll put it right back up. we may be a lot but we don't censor. bean bag. and furthermore susan, when you finally posted up some non-BS, under the bus type information i said 'see, that's how you do things in a constructive manner' or something.

as for promoting shops, well, you got us there. see, in the REAL world, the LBS guys need every edge they can get. i don't know about you but i'm slammed with 20% off from x, y or z national retail chain about 12 times a day. that's great, but they can't fix my bike, talk me off a ledge or waste 40 minutes of my day looking a $5,000 madone glued to the floor. i made a decision to, for a number of reasons, buy as much locally as possible. support the people who help us ride. so yeah, we support the shops.

oh, and we also do that other stuff that frank mentioned.

you got me on a bad day, don't piss me off.

What I was saying is that this thread will grow and grow and grow in time and eventually be the biggest thread on the site. That was a title formerly held by the now famous (infamous?) Winter Shoes thread. And you would be the owner of the biggest thread ever, like Winter Shoes.

I like it! Though it's more the style than the difference. Admittedly I may have pulled the trigger fairly quickly. My tolerance may be a bit low due to the Cross forum crap from the past week. I don't like trolling.

We get this at the end of every year. In 2006 it was absolutely huge. This place was probably on the verge of total collapse. I can pinpoint the day because it was my birthday, 11/22/2006, when it went absolutely off the deep end. I think both Fred and Walter joined that week, and were probably like, "What the hell did I get myself into?" I seem to remember a similar sort of crankiness last year.

I think triathletes look silly in short shorts and singlets (that tri-talk for tank top). They crash whenever they are forced to turn their bike. They don't know how to change a flat tire. 😛

OTOH, I think it's cool that they write their numbers on their skin with permanent marker. It's like a race tattoo. 😎

however, my panties are not bunched over this id be happy to pay someone to pamper me (disclaimer: pampering is only allowed with proper approval from my wife in triplicate)
